על הישרדות – ולא מפקירים חבר בשטח

השביעי בפינתנו ארץ DC ירושלים:

ביום ראשון שכנינו חגגו את הפסחא, ומחר אנו נציין את חציית ים סוף ונקרא את פרשיית שירת הים.
על השרדות, בין בבריחה בין בהשמדה ובשניהם לא מפקירים חבר בשטח.

לאחר מכת בכורות בני ישראל משולחים ממצרים "ויוגד למלך מצרים כי ברח העם"
בכדי לשרוד העם בורח אפילו לתוך הים שנחצה לכבודם.
אבל המצרים נחושים להשמיד את אבותינו.. "וינער את מצרים בתוך הים". לכבוד ההצלה והשרידות בני ישראל פוצחים "בשירה הזאת לה' אשירה לה' כי גאה גאה"

* 🇺🇸 העם האירני רוצה לצאת לחופשי אבל הממשל טובח את המתנגדים- "ואת עם עני תושיע ועיניך על רמים תשפיל"
* 🇺🇸 הם מכניסים מוקשים למצרי הורמוז בעזרת טנדרים- "חבלי שאול סבוני קדמוני מוקשי מוות"
* 🇺🇸 אנחנו לא אוהבים מלחמה והרג, עד הלילה הם עוד יכולים לתקן או שיושמדו לתקופת האבן- "ארדפה אויבי ואשמידם ולא אשוב עד כלותם ואכלם ואמחצם ולא יקומון תכריע קמי תחתני" "תיפול עליהם אימתה ופחד ידמו כאבן"

אז דיברנו על שרידות והשמדה- אבל האם זו המטרה??

עם ישראל בורח כדי לשרוד, בדרך נלחם בקמים עליו בכדי לממש את "נחית בחסדך עם זו גאלת נהלת בעוזך אל נווה קדשך"

The seventh in Eretz DC Yerushalaim:

On Sunday our neighbors celebrated Easter, and tomorrow we will mark sing and read of the crossing of the sea.
About survival, either by escaping or by destroying, And in both ways we do not abandon a friend in the field.

Following the 'first born plague' the Israelites are sent out of Egypt "the king of Egypt has been told that the people have escaped"
In order to survive, the nation are escaping in to the sea that opens for them.
But the Egyptians are determined to destroy our ancestors..
"And God shook Egypt in the sea"
In order to thank for the survival the Israelites are "singing to God in this song, for he is great"

The Haftarah and the parasha are translating the yesterday's press conference led by the President;

So we spoke about survival and destruction- but is this the Goal??
Absolutely not!

The Israeliets are escaping to survive, on their journey the fight those who attack, in order to fulfill "Thou in Thy love hast led the people that Thou hast redeemed; Thou hast guided them in Thy strength to Thy holy habitation"

David is escaping to survive, but then he fights and establishes an amazing Kingdom from Dan to Beer Sheba ('look at Parashat Haazinu' for the 'House of David' stone) and at the end he buys the 'Holy Habitation'.

Will this war have a greater goal? Days will tell..

It is time for the 'people of the Book' to speak to the world in Biblical terminology!

How?
For example instead of saying 'thank God let there be quiet'
We can ask and quote the end of the Haftarah;
"Therefore I will give thanks unto Thee, O LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises unto Thy name. A tower of salvation is He to His king; and showeth mercy to His anointed, to David and to his seed, for evermore"

The peace maker in heaven, make peace upon us and on all of Israel and we shall say Amen
