אתמול היה היארצייט של הרבי שהיה מחלק דולרים,
ומחר נקרא בפרשת "ויקח קרח בן יצהר בן קהת בן לוי"
על הפקת לקחים, ריבונות ויצר השררה.

הפרשה פותחת בוויכוח בין קרח לבין משה על ההנהגה של עם ישראל.
לאחר שעדת קורח מטיחה "כי תשתרר עלינו גם השתרר"
משה מגלגל את האחריות לאלוהים שנותן סימן מאוד ברור במי הוא בוחר, ועוד סימן ועוד סימן..
לאחר שהאדמה פוערת פיה, אש ומגיפה, העם אומר "הן גוענו אבדנו כולנו אבדנו"
ממש כמו אחינו בישראל לאחר חתימת ההסכם עם איראן שהגיע בעקבות ערך הדולר.

אך אלוהים נותן עוד סימן אחד מי צריך להנהיג את העם, הפעם סימן מעורר תקווה:
"והנה פרח מטה אהרון ויוצא פרח ויגמול שקדים"
ומיד מדבר אליו ישירות:
"אתה ובניך ובית אביך תשאו את עוון המקדש ועוון כהנתכם"
שבט לוי הוא הנבחר להוביל את העם במקדש

לאחר כמה מאות שנים ההפטרה מספרת לנו שהעם שוב רוצה מנהיג ברור, הפעם שיהיה מלך.
שמואל ממליך את שאול לעיני העם אך מזכיר לכולם ש "ה' אלוהיכם מלככם"
וכדי שיהיה ברור מי המלך; "ויקרא אל ה' ויתן קולות ומטר" באמצע קציר חיטים.
האמת שפה בDC זה מזג אוויר רגיל לעונה.

בשבוע שבו 'עינו של העם היושב בציון' צופה למוצא פיו של הנשיא השכן, השליט הלא רשמי של העולם.
אולי דווקא היום Juneteenth, חג סוף העבדות, הגיע הזמן שנצפה לציון למוצא פיו של השליט הרשמי הבלעדי של העולם.
כמאמר חתימת ההפטרה:
"כי לא יטוש ה' את עמו בעבור שמו הגדול כי הואיל ה' לעשות אתכם לו לעם"

Yesterday we commemorated the Yahertzeit of the Rebbe that handed dollars💵
And tomorrow we will read Parashat "Korah son of Yitzhar, son of Kehat son of Levi"
About learning lessons, sovereignty, and Desire for power.

The Parasha begins with an argument between Korah and Moses about who shall rule the Israelites.
Korah's team are accusing Moses "you seek to dominate us ever further?".
And Moses? He lets God to respond.
So God sends a VERY clear sign of who he chooses to rule,
And another sign, and another one…
After the "Earth opened its mouth", fire and plague, the people said "we perish, we are lost we are all lost".
Just like our brothers in Israel after signing the deal with Iran which came following the change in the Dollars value.

But God sends one more sign who should rule the nation, this time a positive sign;
"The staff of Aaron had bloomed sprouted a bud and almonds ripened"
And then he spoke directly to Aaron;
"You, your sons and your father's household shall bear the iniquity of the Temple and the priesthood"
The tribe of Levi is chosen to lead the People in the temple.

After few hundred years the Haftarah tells us that the nation want a clear leader this time, a King.
Samuel anoints Saul in front of the whole nation but reminds them that "God is your king!"
And just to make sure who is the king; "he called to God who sent thunder and rain" while the harvest of the wheat".
Actually here in DC this weather is normal for this season.

In this week that 'the eyes of the nation who dwells in Zion'
Looking for what the President, the Unofficial ruler of the world, has to say.
Maybe today, Juneteenth, when slavery ended, it's time for us to look for Zion, to what the one and only Official ruler of the world has to say.
Just like the end of the Haftarah;
"For God shall not cast off his people for the sake of his great name, for God has sworn to make you a people unto him"

Shabbat Shalom, 'that our eyes will see your return to Zion with Mercy'
