על חוקי הכהנים וחגי ישראל

הפסח שני בפינתנו ארץ DC ירושלים:

לאחר מות הקדושים מסתבר שלא כולם יכולים להשתתף בלוויה.
ולכן נקרא מחר בפרשת "אמור אל הכהנים בני אהרון לנפש לא יטמא בעמיו"
על חוקי הכהנים וחגי ישראל.

הפרשה פותחת בשורת חוקים לגבי שושלת בני אהרון, אותם אנו משמרים עד היום.
ואני שואל- למה?
למה זה רלוונטי היום לתת לכהן וללוי כבוד מיוחד?

בהמשך מפורטים החגים ומשמעותם החקלאית עם הדגש:
"כי תבואו אל הארץ אשר אני נותן לכם"

הפרשה חותמת בגזר דין חריף המתאים לנסיון ההתנקשות השבוע בכנס הממשל השכן:
"ואיש כי יתן מום בעמיתו כאשר עשה כן יעשה לו"

אנחנו לא רוצים ירי, אלא שלום
ולכן נחתום בברכת החג הראשון.
"מועדי ה' מקראי קודש אלה הם מועדי; ששת ימים תעשה מלאכה וביום השביעי שבת שבתון" שלום🙏

🎶"וספרתם לכם ממחרת השבת.. מיום הביאכם את עומר התנופה"🎶
היום 29 יום לעומר.

This 2nd Passover in Eretz DC Yerushalaim:

After the 'death of the holies' (last week portions)
We realize some people couldn't attend the funeral.
Therefore we will read tomorrow parashat 'Emor':
"Speak to the Priests sons of Aaron a soul is forbidden to become impure"
About laws of the priests, and the Holidays.

The parasha begins with a list of laws for the descendants of Aaron, which we keep till this very day.
And Im asking- why?
How is it relevant today to give special respect to the priests and Levis?

Later on we read a detailed description of the holidays and their agriculture meaning with a focus on:
"When you enter the land that I'm giving to you"

The parasha closes with a harsh court order, which fits to the government assassination attempt that occurred this week near by;
"A man who hurt his fellow, as he did, he deserves to get"

We don't want shooting, we want peace
Therefore we will close with the blessing of the first holiday.
"God's Holidays, called holy these are my holidays; six days you shall create and on the seventh day complete rest" Shabbat shalom🙏

🎶and you shall count after the Sabbath.. since you brought the Omer to lift it🎶
Today is 29 of the Omer
The merciful will return the picture.
