על הבאת השליחות ארצה

השבוע הבא בפינתנו ארץ DC ירושלים:

מחר נקרא בפרשת "והיה כי תבוא אל הארץ אשר ה' אלוהיך נותן לך נחלה ורישתה וישבת בה"
על הבאת השליחות ארצה.

הפרשה פותחת במצוות הביכורים המביאה יחד את כל חקלאי העונה
"ולקחת מראשית כל פרי האדמה.. ושמת בטנא והלכת אל המקום אשר יבחר ה' אלוהיך לשכן שמו שם"

בטקס הבאת הביכורים אנו מצווים לספר על מעברי דירה;
"וענית ואמרת: אבי ירד מצרימה…ויוציאנו ה' ממצרים.. ויביאנו אל המקום הזה ויתן לנו את הארץ הזאת ארץ זבת חלב ודבש"

הארץ אכן טובה, אך אנו באים באמצע המלחמה, ממש כמו אז:
"ותבואו אל המקום הזה ויצא סיחון ועוג מלך הבשן לקראתנו למלחמה- ונכם!"

אנו מכים בלי סוף, עד מתי?!
אולי בעזרת הפסוק הבא:
"וניקח את ארצם, וניתנם לנחלה"

האם אז תתקיים הברכה לזירה הדיפלומטית;
"וראו כל עמי הארץ… ויראו ממך"?

נסכם שנתיים שליחות, שהתחילה בחושך והסתיימה באור אשר בקצה המנהרה (תרתי משמע) כפתיחת ההפטרה:
"קומי אורי כי בא אורך.. שאי סביב עינייך וראי.. בנייך מרחוק יבואו"
זכינו לפגוש את הבנים והבנות שבאו משבי חמאס.

נמשיך לעשות הכל בכדי ש:
1. בדרום: "לא ישמע עוד חמס בארצך" (ישעיה ס' י"ח)

2. ובצפון:
"כבוד הלבנון אלייך יבוא".
אלייך, ולא לרומא בחודש הבא.

אנו, נעשה את ההשתדלות.
השאר יבוא מלמעלה: "השקיפה ממעון קדשך מן השמיים, וברך את האדמה אשר נתת לנו, כאשר נשבעת לאבותינו, ארץ זבת חלב ודבש"

שבת, שלום ולהתראות בקרוב.

This coming week in Eretz DC Yerushalaim:

Tomorrow we will read parshah Ki Tavo "when you come into the land which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance you will dwell in it"
about bringing the mission to the land.

The parshah opens with the commandment of the firstfruits which brings together all the farmers of the season
"And you shall take of the firstfruits of all the fruit of the land.. and you shall put it in a Basket and go to the place which God will choose to place His name there"

In the ceremony of bringing the firstfruits we are commanded to tell about relocations;
"And you answered and said: My father went down to Egypt…and the Lord brought us out of Egypt…and brought us to this place and gave us this land, flowing with milk and honey."

The land is indeed good, but we come in the midst of war, just as then:
"And you came to this place, and Sihon and Og, the king of Bashan, came fighting us- and we beat them!"

We are constantly beating, until when?!
Perhaps with the help of the following verse:
"And we took their land, and possessed it"

Will the blessing for the diplomatic arena then be fulfilled;
"And all the peoples of the earth shall see…and fear you"?

Concluding two years of mission, which began in darkness and ended with the light at the end of the tunnel (literally) as the opening of the haftarah:
"Arise my light, for your light has come.. Cast your eyes around and see.. your sons shall come from afar"
We have been privileged to meet the sons and daughters Who came from Hamas captivity.

We will continue to do everything so that:
1. In the south: "No more shall the sound of HAMAS be heard in your land" (Isaiah 61:18)

2. And in the north:
"The glory of Lebanon shall come to you".
To you, and not to Rome next month.

We will make the effort.
The rest will come from above: "Look down from your holy dwelling place in heaven, and bless the land that you have given us, as you swore to our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey."
