אבל מה עם הילידים??

אז הפסוק אומר שזה יבוצע ע"י ה'- אז מה איתנו? אנחנו נשב ונסמוך על הנס??

בסצנה המפורסמת ליאונידס מתשאל את הצבא שחובר אליו על המקצועות שלהם.
ואז מתרברב שאצלו אמנם מספר קטן של 300, אבל כולם לוחמים מקצועיים.
ומי אנחנו?
האם ספרטנים לוחמים?
או בעלי מלאכה המאירים את העולם?
אפשר גם וגם! 'גיבורי על' (התקווה 6)
רגע תיקון, עם של גיבורי על
עם יהודי עם סיפור עתיק שממשיך עד ימינו
ומקורו בספר הנמכר ביותר בעולם.
אם רק היה בספר סיפור שמדבר על;
* 300 לוחמים 'ספרטניים'

* ניצחון במלחמה….

אני מציע שם חדש ישן
מבצע 'שופרות גדעון':
כולם רוצים להתגייס, גדעון מסנן ומשאיר 300, יוצאים עם נשק הכי פשוט שיש- כדי חרס, לפידים ושופר (שעל מקורו דיברנו השבוע).
ואי אפשר בלי המשפט המפורסם של בית הספר לקצינים שבתמונה:
"ממני תיראו וכן תעשו"
ובעזרת אפקט הפתעה פשוט והרבה רעש (ע"ע דוידקה)
האויב הורג את עצמו… סוגר לנו את הפינה בהאג..
אולי כל מה שצריך זה כמאמר ההפטרה "שובה ישראל'?
אולי אם נחזור לדבר את הסיפור שלנו, התנ"ך, הכל יתחבר.
אבל מה יגידו פה האמריקאים??

אז מה המקצוע שלנו?!??

This week in Eretz DC Yerushalaim:
'Spartans what is your profession??'
Between 'Kese&Asor' when all am Israel gathers for Shofar blowing while operation 'Gideons chariots'
Tomorrow we will read (Deuteronomy 31) "And Moses went and spoke these words unto all Israel..Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be affrighted at them"
Joshua will take the nation across the Jordan to its West Bank- (can someone update Moses that the President doesn't let?)
But about the people who live there??
"these nations from before thee, and thou shalt destroy them"
That's rough! but wait, who will destroy?
Joshua? and be accused with war crimes??
So the verse clearly says that God will do it..
But what about us? will we sit and wait for the miracle to happen?!?
Pause, let's go back to the movie.
In the famous scene Leonidas is questioning the ally army about their professions. And then brags that although he has only 300 men, they are all warriors.
And what about us?
Are we Spartan warriors?
Or hard working world fixers?
We can do both! 'superheros' (song by Hatikvah 6 )
Umm correction:
Nation of superheroes
A Jewish Nation with ancient story that continues as we read. That begins in the best seller Book ever.
Only if there was story in the Book that speaks about;
* 300 'Spartans' warriors
* Shofar blowing
* Gideon
* Winning a war…..
Oh wait, Judges chapter 7!
I suggest a newage name
Operation 'Gideon's Ramhorns':
Everyone drafts, Gideon is choosing only the best 300, going with the most simplest weapons- pottery, torches, and a Ramhorns (we spoke about its origin this week).
And of course the most famous quote from IDF officers training school in the picture:
"Look on me, and do likewise"
And with the effect of suprise and lots of noise the enemy is eliminating itself…
So maybe all we need to do is like the Haftara begins; "Return Israel"
Maybe if we return to tell our story, the Bible, everything will fit.
But what will the Americans say??
When we will speak Bible they will say Amen
So, what is our profession?!?!?
