האזינו פ"ו

והשבוע בפינתנו (כן, היום יום שישי)
ותשמע הארץ, DC ירושלים:
"אין שלום אמר אלוהי- לרשעים" (מההפטרה של אתמול..)

מחר שבת ונקרא בפרשת 'האזינו השמיים ואדברה' וכל העולם האזין
לרוה"מ והנשיא השכן כשנפגשו בבית הלבן כדי להפסיק מלחמה.. נשמע מוכר?
מוכר מדי "זכור ימות עולם בינו שנות דור דור שאל אביך ויגדך זקניך ויאמרו לך"
שוב מדברים על חלוקת הארץ שתי מדינות לשני עמים: "בהנחל עליון גוים בהפרידו בני אדם יצב גבולות עמים.."

ואז קורה מה שתמיד קורה
חמאס בבוקר ענה שצריך כמה ימים לחשוב, וכמה דקות אחר כך שיגר רקטות.. אולי עשה כמונו התרת נדרים..

ואנחנו נכנסים לסבב ושוב מבטיחים מהפרשה "אשיב נקם לצרי ולמשנאי אשלם"
אולי פעם אחת נבטיח: "דם עבדיו יקום ונקם ישיב לצריו וכיפר אדמתו עמו??"

אבל מה יגידו האמריקאים על כפרה בעזרת אדמה??
אז באמריקה יש:
65 Nebo
4 Moab
14 Jericho
11 Canaan

ולמה? כי הפרשה מסתיימת במשה עולה אל "הר נבו אשר בארץ מואב אשר על פני יריחו וראה את ארץ כנען אשר אני נותן לבני ישראל לאחוזה"

בMoab נולדה סבתא רבתה של דוד שמשורר את ההפטרה ומתפלל לה' "מושיעי ומחמס תושיעני"
דוד? שעשה יותר מדי עד שנאסר עליו לבנות את בית המקדש, עכשיו יושב ומתפלל?
לא! הוא מבקש סיוע אווירי בזמן שהוא פועל: "ארדפה אויבי ואשיגם ולא אשוב עד כלותם ואכלם ואמחצם ולא יכלו קום"

בתפילה שאחינו ואחותנו 'בית דוד' השבויים בחוף הים הדרומי של אחוזתנו יקויים בהם; "מוציאי מאויבי, ומקמי תרוממני, מאיש חמסים תצילני"

ואיך אנחנו, פה בDC בין הגויים יכולים לעזור?
הרי לעשות פיזית אי אפשר! כוחנו בדיבור ושירה;
"על כן אודך ה' בגויים ולשמך נאה לזמר, מיגדול (כן, חצי חודש אומרים מוסף) ישועות מלכו עושה חסד למשיחו לדוד ולזרעו עד עולם"

"עושה שלום במרומיו הוא יעשה שלום עלינו ועל כל ישראל ואמרו אמן"

This week (yes, today is Friday..)
in 'vatishma haEretz, DC, Yerushalaim:
"There is no peace said God -for the wicked"
(From yesterday's Haftarah Isaiah 57)

Tomorrow is Shabbat we will read (Deuteronomy 32) "Give ear o heavens let me speak"
And the whole world heard the Israeli Prime Minister meeting with the President in the White House in order to end the war..
Sounds familiar?

Too familiar "remember the days of old consider the years of ages past ask your father he will inform you, your elders they will tell you"
Again the conversation is dividing the land 2 states solution "when the most high gave nations their homes and set divisions of man he fixed the boundaries of people…"

And then everything is repeating itself
In the morning Hamas says he needs few days to think,
Few moments later he fires rockets.. maybe he did 'Annul Vows' like we did…

And we enter another round, and we will promise from the Parasha:
"I will punish my enemies. I will give them the punishment they deserve"

Maybe for once we can promise:
"for he will avenge the blood of his slaves and will render vengeance to his enemies and will reconcile his land, to his people"??

But what will the Americans will say if we take the LAND??

So here in USA there are:
56 Nebo
4 Moab
14 Jericho
11 Canaan

And why? Because the Parasha ends with Moses climbing to "mount Nebo which is in the Land of Moab facing Jericho and view the land of Canaan which I'm giving the Israelites as their holding"

Moab is the birthplace of the great grandmother of David the poet which wrote the Haftarah (Samuel ii 22)
And he prays to God "my savior you can rescue me from HAMAS"
David? Who was too ACTIVE that he was forbidden to build the Temple now he is sitting and praying??
No! He is asking for air support while he takes action "I pursued my enemies and wiped them out, I did not turn back till I destroyed them, I struck them down they rose no more"

With prayer that all our brothers&sister part of the 'House of David' that are in captivity in the southern beach of our holding will be blessed with: "rescued from my enemies raised me clear of my foes, rescue me from HAMAS people"

So how can we help here in DC among the Nations?
We cannot physicaly act like David.. our weapon and strength is to SPEAK and write poems:
"For this I sing your praise among the nations and hymn your name, Tower of victory to his king who deals graciously with his anointed with David and his offspring evermore"
