״אל הארץ אשר אראך״ – אז הלכתי לראות

והשבוע בפינתנו ארץ DC ירו-שלם:

מחר נקרא בפרשת "לךלך אל הארץ אשר אראך".
אז הלכתי לראות🤩

בפרשה מסופר על אברם 'שקם ומתהלך לארץ' בתרמיל מקל ומקנה כבד עד שהוא מחליט להתנחל. "בין Bethel (23) ובין ה Ai (רק 1)"
ואז
מלכי הצפון 'חוטפים' את לוט, האחיין, יחד עם כל מה שיש לו.
"וכשאברם שומע כי נשבה אחיו "
הוא יוצא עם 300 איש (לצערי, שוב 300..)
למרדף אגרסיבי.

רגע רגע אמרת אחיין למה כתוב אח?
אז ככה זה בתנ"ך
בשגרה- חברים
בחירום? אחים

המרדף מסתיים בDamascus
ובהצלחה רבה.
אברם מחזיר את כולם: לוט אחיו, את כל המשפחה וגם את הרכוש.

כן, גם את הרכוש… אז למה היום יש דיון על חשיבות 'קבר ישראל?!'

כשאברם חוזר עם כולם
מחכה לו קידוש הודיה בעמק המלך.
"מלכי צדק מלך Salem מוציא לחם ויין."
השם Salem זה השם התנ"כי הכי נפוץ, 139 פה בUSA

בהמשך הפרשה מתוארות 3 נקודות המשפיעות עלינו עד ליום הזה ממש;

נתפלל שאחינו על הקרקע יביאו את אחינו (לא THEM) שמתחת לקרקע.
כמאמר ההפטרה: "איש את רעהו יעזורו ולאחיו יאמר חזק"

ועוד מחר, נשתתף כולנו בקידוש הודיה בעמק המלך.

This week in Eretz DC Jeru-Salem:
"All the land that you SEE I'll give your descendents for ever"

Tomorrow we will read Parashat: "Go for you to the land I will let you 'SEE'"
So I went to SEE 🤩

The Parasha tells us about Abram who walks through the land till he settles "between Bethel (23) and the Ai (1)"

The Kings of the north kidnapp Lot, the nephew and everything he owns.
When "Abram hears his Brother was taken" he takes 300 men (sadly, again 300) and begins an aggressive pursuit.

Wait a sec, you said nephew why is it written brother?
That's how the Bible speaks. On daily basis- friends
On an emergency – brothers

The pursuit ends successfuly in Damascus
Abram returns everything: Lot his Brother and all the family and his belongings.

Yes his belongings as well.. so why in the world there is a discussion about the importance of Jewish Burial?!

When Abram returns he has a to feast waiting for him, a 'Kidush', at the Kings Valley:
"Malkitzedek, king of Salem brought bread and wine"
The name Slaem is the most common biblical name in the USA 139 places.

The parasha mentions 3 points that are relevant till this very day:
* Circumcision (even the President grandkids)
* "Those who bless you will be blessed and those who curse you will be cursed" Jews lovers favorite quote
* The promised land to Avraham
But where is that land?
"From the river (Euphrates) the river (Nile)

These days when the Avraham accords spreading wider to all of Avraham sons between the 2 Rivers, led by the President.

We will pray that our brothers on the ground will bring our brothers (not THEM) from underground.
As the Haftarah (Isaiah 20) says: man will help his fellow and say strong to his brother"

And tomorrow we will all attend to a 'Kidush' at the 'King's valley's
