בהמשך לשבוע שעבר בו הקמנו את מערכת המשפט ואת יסוד המוסר הבינלאומי,
מחר נקרא בפרשת "ואלה המשפטים אשר תשים לפניהם"
על חירות האדם והעונש לפוגע בה.

הפרשה פותחת בהגבלת ענישה לעבד עברי (פושע שלא יכול לשלם)
מהי ההגבלה? "שש שנים יעבוד ובשביעית יצא לחפשי"
אך אם יבחר להישאר בעבדות כי טוב לו עם בעל הבית? הוא נהיה "עבד נרצע ועבדו לעולם" מיוזמתו.

מה לעולם? איך תאריך שחרור??
הרי בהפטרה ירמיהו נוזף בעם "שלא שמעתם אלי, לקרוא דרור איש את עבדו ושפחתו" ובתגובה הוא מנבא את חורבן ירושלים; "ואת מלך יהודה אתן ביד אויביהם חיל מלך בבל"

🎶דרוך פורה בתוך בצרה וגם בבל אשר גברה🎶

כמובן שיש תאריך שחרור! התאריך הוא שנת היובל, החקוק על פעמון 🔔 הדרור;
"וקידשתם את שנת החמישים שנה וקראתם דרור בארץ לכל יושביה.. ושבתם איש אל אחוזתו ואיש אל משפחתו תשובו"
השנה, היא שנת היובל החמישי פה בUSA

עד כאן החוק למי שעבר על "לא תגנוב"
אבל מה החוק אומר לגבי מי שעובר על "לא תרצח"?
הפרשה עונה בבירור: "מכה איש ומת מות יומת, וכי יעשה במזיד- מעם מזבחי תיקחנו למות".

השבוע הנשיא השכן אמר שאסור לספח את יהודה ושומרון, עלינו לכבדו ככתוב "ונשיא בעמך לא תאור",
הרי הוא לא אשם, האם אנחנו פה בDC אמרנו שאנו רוצים את הארץ? כמאמר הפרשה "הנה אנוכי שולח מלאך לפניך…ושתי את גבולך מים סוף ועד ים פלישתים וממדבר ועד הנהר"'

האם ראש הממשלה נתניהו בא במיוחד להגיד את זה לנשיא?

בתפילה שתתקיים בנו חתימת ההפטרה; "זרע אברהם ישחק ויעקב כי אשיב את שבותם וריחמתים"

This week in Eretz DC Yerushalaim:

Continuing last week where we established the Justice system and the international moral law,
Tomorrow we will read Mishpatim portion "And these are the ordinances that you shall place before them"
About human freedom and the punishment for the violaters.

The parasha begins with limiting the punishment of a Hebrew slave (a criminal who couldn't pay)
What is the limitation? "He shall work work for six years and in the seventh he shall go free"
But what if he wants to stay at his slavery with his master?
Then he becomes "a pierced slave and he shall serve him forever"

Forever? No release date??
But even the Haftarah Jeremiah (34) is furious at the people for "You did not hearken to me to Proclaim Liberty every man to his bondsman and bondswoman"
In response he describes the prophecy of Jerusalem's destruction;
"And the king of Judah I shall give into the hand of their enemies the army of Babylon"

Well ofcourse there is a release date! It is the Jubilee year which is carved on the Liberty 🔔 Bell;
"Sanctify the Fiftieth year and Proclaim Liberty throughout the land to all inhabitants there of.. and you shall return to your property and family"
This year is the Fifth Jubilee of USA

so we spoke about the law of violating "you Shall not steal"
What about those who violate "you shall not murder"?
So the parasha answers very clearly: "One who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death, if it was intentionally, from my altar shall you take him to die"

This week the President said Israel cannot have sovereignty over Judea&Samaria,
We must respect him as it written "You shall not curse a president among your people"
He is not to blame, did we here in DC say out loud we want the land?
like it says in the parasha "Behold I sent an angel before you.. to set your border from the sea to the reeds of the sea of the Philistines and from the wilderness until the river"

Was that the reason the Prime Minister Netanyahu came here to tell the president that?

In prayer that the sealing of the Haftarah will be fulfilled; "The offspring of Abraham Issac and Jacob for I shall bring them back and show them mercy"

"And The first fruit of our land we shall bring to the house of God"
