מחר נקרא בפרשת "ואתחנן אל ה' בעת ההיא לאמר"
על ציטוט, מוסר ונוהל חבירה.

הפרשה המצוטטת ביותר פותחת בתחנוניו של משה להיכנס לארץ "אראה את ההר הטוב והלבנון."
אך אלוהים מסרב ועונה:
"עלה ראש הפסגה ושא עיניך כי לא תעבור את הירדן" (יש 113 Pisgah בארה"ב)

הפרשה ממשיכה בהוראות הפעלה
"שמע ישראל אל החוקים ואל המשפטים למען תחיו ובאתם וירישתם את הארץ"
וכדאי לשמוע ולהקשיב הרי כתוב "ונשמרתם מאוד לנפשותיכם"

ואנחנו לא שמענו ולא נשמרנו. לא לפני 1956 שנים, וגם לא לפני 1022 ימים.
מאורעות אותו היום הם עבירה על כל מידות המוסר הבינלאומי, הרי הן עשרת הדיברות, המוצגות במעל 45 מקומות בארה"ב:

"שמע ישראל ה' אלוהינו ה' אחד. ואהבת.."

בתום הקריאה נצביע על הספר ונכריז כולנו יחד "וזאת התורה אשר שם משה לפני בני ישראל"

ההפטרה מבקשת
"נחמו נחמו עמי" גם על ההפסד של ארגנטינה וגם על הביקור בבית הלבן של המדינה מצפון.
הסכמים זה חשוב אך בל נשכח ש"לבנון אין די בער".
וגם אם נראה רע ומחירי הדלק בשמיים אז הגיע הזמן שנשמע כולנו לחתימת ההפטרה:
"שאו מרום עיניכם וראו מי ברא אלה.. איש לא נעדר"

הכח שלנו פה בDC הוא 'רק' במילים.
נאחל שבת שלום, אך בכדי שזה יתממש נתחנן לאחינו היהודים בתפוצות:

"Hear, O Israel, your God will say: Speak about the heart of Jerusalem"

Tomorrow we will read in parashat VaEtchanan " I Requested from God at that time"
About quoting, morality, and Link up procedure.

The most quoted Parasha opens with Moses' pleas to enter the land "I will see the good mountain and Lebanon."
But God refuses and answers:
"climb to Pisgah (summit) and lift up your eyes, for you shall not cross the Jordan" (there are 113 places in USA called Pisgah)

The parasha continues with operating instructions
"Hear, O Israel, the laws and the judgments that you may live, come and possess the land"
And it is worth hearing and listening, for it is written "be very careful for your souls"

But we did not hear and were not careful. Not 1956 years ago, nor 1022 days ago.
The events of that day are a violation of all international moral standards, they are the Ten Commandments, displayed in over 45 locations in the US:

4-On the Sabbath, while they 3- for no reason Bear the name of 2- Other God.
They: 6- Murdered. 7- committed adultery. 8- Stole and kidnapped. 10- Coveted. To this day they 9- Torturing us with false witnesses.
There is one Commandment they kept, 5- Honorring their father and mother by video call on a "'live"' stream, blood stream.

We, are the children of Israel, the children of 1- God who brought us out of the land of Egypt.
The people who add goodness and LOVE to the world. How do we know this?
Because every Jewish child knows the verse that served as a 'Link Up procedure" that morning:
"Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one 1. LOVE!.."

After the reading, we will point at the book and all of us together will declare "And this is the Torah which Moses set before the children of Israel."

The Haftarah asks
"Comfort, comfort my people" both for Argentina's loss and for the visit to the White House of the country from the north.
Agreements are important but let us not forget that "Lebanon is not burning enough."
And even if things look bad and gas prices are skyrocketing, then it is time for us all to listen to the seal of the Haftarah:
"Lift up your eyes to the heavens and see who created these.. not one is missing."
